The luxury powerhouse LVMH has announced that Delphine Arnault, daughter of the worlds richest man and LVMHs founder Bernard Arnault, has been appointed chief executive at Dior.

In a press release announcing her appointment, LVMH said that Delphine will be in charge of overseeing all aspects of Dior’s ready-to-wear collections. She will also play a key role in developing its international growth strategy.

Delphine has spent her entire career working within the family business including stints at Louis Vuitton as well as Christian Dior Couture (the brand’s couture line).

The daughter of LVMHs founder Bernard Arnault has been appointed president of Dior Couture, effective immediately.

Ms Arnault has spent her entire career working in the family business, with roles including director of strategy at Louis Vuitton and chief executive officer of Christian Dior Watches & Jewelry Division. She will now report directly to LVMH chairman.

Ms Arnault is a highly talented and experienced individual who will be able to help Dior as it looks to grow in the future. The appointment of Pietro Beccari is also very exciting for the fashion house, with his extensive knowledge of luxury goods and experience working with other brands within LVMHs portfolio making him an ideal candidate for this role.
